The Grand-Ducal Regulation of 27 June 2008 sets out the minimum health and safety requirements to be implemented on temporary or mobile work sites where building or civil engineering work is carried out, a list of which is included in Annex I of the aforementioned Grand-Ducal Regulation. (Article 1 and Article 2)
Within the scope of its responsibilities, Article 3 of the aforementioned Grand-Ducal Regulation requires the project owner to appoint one or more health and safety coordinators for any work site when at least two companies are involved (simultaneously or successively) in the execution of a work phase.
The Grand-Ducal Regulation referred to above distinguishes between two phases of a work project: the preparation phase (project phase) and the implementation phase (work site phase). (Article 7 to Article 11)
