Upon the expiry of a seasonal contract, the employer may, in order to fill the post of a seasonal worker whose contract has come to an end, approach the same employee or another employee recruited on the basis of a seasonal contract or working under a hiring-out contract arranged by a temporary work agency operator or in the context of a workforce loan.
An employer need not observe the waiting period as is the rule in the case of successive fixed-term contracts (where the employer must observe a waiting period equal to one-third of the duration of the expired contract, including renewals).
