D4b7 - May an employee claim compensation for meals, travel or trips in cases of release from work during the period of notice?

No.

In the event of termination of the contract on the initiative of the employer or of the employee , the employer may release the employee from the performance of work during the notice period.

Until the end of the notice period, the release referred to in the foregoing paragraph must not cause the employee any reduction of wages, compensation and other advantages which he might have been able to claim if he had performed his work.

However, an employee may not claim the benefits deriving from the repayment of costs incurred through work, in particular allowances for meals, for travel or for trips.
