D4a8 - At what level is the social minimum wage set for young employees?

For young employees, the level of the social minimum wage is set as follows with effect from 1 May 2025 :

Article 4 of the law of July 20, 2023, relating to compulsory education and amending the law of February 6, 2009, on the organization of primary education, sets the duration of compulsory schooling at 14 years. Compulsory education now extends from the age of 4 to the age of 18.

Articles L. 341-1 of the Labor Code and subsequent provisions concerning young employees define an adolescent as someone who is at least 15 years old but under 18 years old and who is no longer subject to the compulsory education requirements imposed by the applicable legislation.
