The law identifies a number of activities which it classifies as dangerous for the health and safety of a pregnant or breastfeeding woman.
Those activities, considered as dangerous, are divided into 2 categories:
- the 1st category includes tasks such as the lifting of loads weighing more than 5 kg, jobs involving a risk of falling or slipping and works involving a constant crouching or leaning position;
- the 2nd category includes tasks which bring the woman into contact with chemicals such as lead or biological agents such as toxoplasma or the rubella virus.
