Provisions of laws, regulations and agreements governing working conditions are applicable to the employment of pupils or students.
The student contract also, from its signature, as in the case of fixed-term contracts, specifies the expiry date of the contractual period.
Thus, as in the case of fixed-term contracts, the employer cannot dismiss a student by giving notice.
However, an employer may dismiss a student with immediate effect in the event of serious misconduct by the student.
In any such case, the same procedural rules as in the case of dismissal of an employee with immediate effect must be observed.
