The employee must submit a request to the Luxembourg National Health Fund (Caisse nationale de santé - CNS) based on a medical certificate from their treating physician.
The request must receive the employer’s approval.
If the employer agrees to the principle of a progressive return to work for therapeutic reasons, the request must be forwarded to the CNS for approval.
