D2f6 - What allowance must the beneficiary of an employment initiation contract be paid?

The beneficiary of a CIE is entitled at least to an allowance calculated by reference to the level of his qualifications.

For young people under 18, the allowance is equal to 80% of the social minimum wage for unskilled workers.

For young people over the age of 18, the allowance is equal to 100% of the social minimum wage for unskilled workers.

The allowance is equal to 130% of the social minimum wage for unskilled workers for young holders of:

  • a Higher Technician’s Certificate (BTS);
  • a Bachelor's degree;
  • a Master’s degree.

The promoter may, on an optional basis, also pay a merit bonus.
