Specific Health and Safety Plan

The specific health and safety plan drawn up by the employer includes the evaluation of the risks that workers are exposed to, in view of the planned working methods and, resulting therefrom, the protective and preventative measures that they intend to implement, evaluation and protective measures provided for in paragraph 2 of Article L. 312-2 of the Labour Code.

The specific health and safety plan must be integrated into the general health and safety plan.

The specific health and safety plan must clearly detail:

  • the company name and address;
  • the possible change in workforce on the construction site;
  • the name and position of the person in charge of managing the execution of the works;
  • the duration, start and end time of the works;
  • the instructions to follow to guarantee first aid for victims of accidents;
  • an analysis of the construction and execution procedures;
  • an evaluation of the potential risks related to operating methods, materials, equipment and installations, and the use of substances and preparations;
  • the collective or, failing which, individual protection measures, adapted in response to these risks.  This plan specifies the measures taken to ensure the continuity of collective protection solutions where these require adapting.
