The employment initiation contract (contrat d’initiation à l’emploi - CIE) is a contract concluded between a company (called the promoter), a young job-seeker registered with the ADEM for at least 3 months and aged under 30, and the ADEM.
The objective of the CIE is to provide the young person, during working hours, with practical training in order to facilitate his integration into the labour market.
