Thursday, February 1, 2024 (the first day of the month announcing the elections)
Date for the calculation of the workforce used to determine the number of delegates to be elected.
Saturday, February 10, 2024 (at least one month before the elections)
- Posting, by the employer or their representative, of a notice announcing the date, location, start and end times of the voting, as well as the number of delegates to be elected, the location where individuals can view the names of the candidates, the conditions for passive suffrage, and the number of employees considered in calculating the workforce in the company.
- Deadline for the submission, if applicable, by the employer or the employee delegation, of a request for ministerial authorization for absentee voting by mail.
Saturday, February 17, 2024, by evening (3 weeks before the election day)
- Deadline for the submission, by the employer or their representative, of alphabetical lists of employees who meet the conditions for active and passive suffrage, for consultation.
- Information by posting that any complaints regarding the list must be submitted to the employer and, for information, to the ITM within 3 business days from the filing.
- Communication of the posted notice announcing the elections and the notice concerning the complaint deadline to the ITM via the electronic platform.
From Tuesday, February 20 to Thursday, February 22, 2024 (within 3 business days following the filing)
Deadline for presenting any complaints regarding the alphabetical lists to the employer.
Monday, February 26, 2024, by 6:00 PM (15 calendar days before the election begins)
- Deadline for the submission of candidacies.
- In case of absence or insufficient candidates, the candidacy deadline will be extended for 3 days until Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
- If the election is held under a proportional representation system, the deadline to request a number for the candidates from the ITM director.
Wednesday, March 6, 2024 (no later than 4 business days before the election)
Registration of valid candidacies via the electronic platform, including the candidate’s name, surname, profession, national registration number, nationality, and gender.
If absentee voting by mail is used: Friday, March 1, 2024 (10 days before the election/see decree)
No later than Friday, March 1, 2024, absentee voters will receive ballots by registered mail with instructions for the election.
Posting of candidates in the company from Friday, March 1 to Monday, March 11, 2024.
If there is no absentee voting by mail: Thursday, March 7, 2024 (the last 3 business days before the election)
Posting of candidates in the company from Thursday, March 7 to Saturday, March 9, 2024.
In case of a multi-day voting period, particularly between March 10 and 12, 2024, the posting of candidates must be advanced accordingly. The closure and counting of votes must be completed by March 12, 2024.

Posting by the employer of the list of elected delegates (both full and alternate).
From Saturday, March 16 to Saturday, March 30, 2024 (within 15 days following the last day of the posting of results)
Period for submitting, by registered mail to the ITM director, challenges related to the electorate and the regularity of the election process.
Starting Tuesday, April 2, 2024 (not before the expiration of the 15-day period after the last day of the posting of results)
The installation of the delegation may not take place before Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and in the event of a challenge, it cannot occur before the decision of the ITM director.
No later than Friday, April 12, 2024 (within one month following the election day)
Convocation of the inaugural meeting of the delegation by the employee who received the highest number of votes in the election. In the case of no election (elected by default), the inaugural meeting will be convened under the same conditions by the oldest full delegate.
Within 3 days following the inaugural meeting
Written communication from the president of the delegation to the employer, listing the names, surnames, and national registration numbers of the president, vice president, secretary, equality delegate, safety and health delegate, and other bureau members.
Within 5 days following the inaugural meeting
A report from the inaugural meeting detailing the election of the voting bureau, the president, vice president, secretary, bureau members, the equality delegate, the safety and health delegate, and the implementation of article L.415-5 of the Labor Code, will be sent to the employer and the ITM.
Within 5 days following the communication of the delegation members’ roles to the employer
The employer will send the ITM, via the electronic platform, the names, surnames, and national registration numbers of the president, vice president, secretary, equality delegate, safety and health delegate, and other bureau members.
Please note that deadlines are extended until the first working day following when the last day falls on a Sunday, a public holiday, or a non-working day in the company.
